What is “fiberglass replacement” exactly?

Do you replace the plywood under roof decks?

What does your fiberglass repair service cover?

Can you waterproof around HVAC pipes?

Yes. We can remove the HVAC unit, protect wiring in waterproof conduit, fiberglass the pipe and deck floor, then reinstall for a watertight seal. It’s explained under HVAC pipe waterproofing.

What is an “over floor” on a roof deck?

It’s the section next to the scupper box that directs water toward drainage, and it’s sealed to help prevent leaks in that vulnerable area. See the over-floor explanation.

Do you install vents on roof decks?

What’s a scupper box and why do I need one?

Can you improve drainage without a new scupper box?

Often, yes—if a new box isn’t possible or preferred, we can reposition the existing scupper to improve drainage performance. Learn more under scupper options.

What happens during a scupper box repair?

For repair, we lower and sand the surrounding area (often several feet behind) to restore flow. For replacement, we remove the box, lower the area, and adjust slope as needed. See scupper repair steps.

What gel coat colors do you stock?

Standard stock gel coat colors are Stone Edge (Light Gray) and Pebble (Cream Beige). You’ll find them listed in gel coat paint details.

Can I request a custom gel coat color?

Yes—additional catalog colors are available, typically for an extra fee. See the note under gel coat color options.

Is gel coat what makes the deck waterproof?

No—gel coat is the finishing layer for a clean, polished look; it doesn’t provide waterproofing by itself. That’s clarified in the gel coat section.
